The Womenswear part of
London Fashion Week is over for another year (it's menswear day today) and what a week it has been! We've seen some great shows and it's hard to pick the favourite. One of the highlights would definitely have to be
Giles though. It had pieces that wouldn't be out of place at couture week. The exquisite collection was
Giles at his best. I loved the feather detailing and stunning embroidery, digital prints of swans that I bet will be HUGE next season, laser cut outs and much much more. It seemed full of contradictions. There were outfits that looked so delicate, fragile even and other powerful and maybe dangerous. The white, red and black swan headpieces added to the drama. The cuts, the draping, everything was just perfect. Way to go
Giles Deacon!
Have a stylish day. (Photo: Style.com)
