Place to visit: Peggy Porshen

Welcome to the new year and brand new series. Once a month I will be sharing a place with you that I love and recommend. I am a self confessed coffee addict so I'm starting this series with possibly the cutest cake shop in London that also serves good coffee and teas.
I don't know what I love more - the pink theme of interior and exterior decorations or the delicious cakes and biscuits. Everything looks and tastes lovely. The staff are nice too and if you come on a warm day you can sit outside and people watch. The area is buzzing and there's always something going on but it's not too overcrowded like other areas in London.
It's in Belgravia only a short walk from Victoria or slightly longer walk from Sloane Square.
Here's the address and website.
Let me know if you visit and what you thought!

Little red dress

Dress also comes in black, OTK boots Nicholas Kirkwood, clutch Miu Miu, lipstick Tom Ford Luciano

I bought this dress in a longer version in the summer (in pink) and had so many comliments on it and absolutely love it and can't wait to wear it again. So when the red shorter version popped up I knew it would be perfect with OTK boots and for the festive season - it was a no brainer. I had to get it. Especially as it's only £25! I am seriously tempted to get the black one as well.
And where better show it off than in front of Cartier. It's the best looking shop right now and how nice it would be to find something in a little red box under the Christmas tree? A girl can dream..

But back to the dress. I already wore it twice and plan to wear it loads over the following couple of weeks. What's not to like? Both the fit and flare shape and the off the shoulder neckline are super flattering and the red is a really nice shade that suits most colours. Trust me I am very pale and not many shades suit me. Also I am tall (5'11') and can just get away with the length so tall girls take notice.
Who's excited for Christmas? (*raises hand)

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Coat Zara, jumper HM, skirt ASOS, boots Nicholas Kirkwood, bag Valentino, brooch Chanel

Even though this post is called Breakfast at Tiffany's I am actually writing it from the Czech republic where I am spending some time with my family. Due to my work commitments I won't be spending Christmas at home so this is my time to do it and we already exchanged gifts and are having Christmas dinner today (Thursday).
But we shot this look few weeks ago with my photographer Victoria who was rushing having to do many Christmas shoots before jetting of to Goa India and I of course wanted to do it all before my holiday.
And no, sadly we didn't have a breakfast at Tiffany¨s but I had a coffee outside and thought it would be a nice blog title. And the store is looking so pretty and festive just like the rest of Bond street, probably my favorite street right now, it definitely has the best decorations. It is looking beautiful and had me feeling very festive. And with my early Christmas now I am more than ready for it all.
Are you ready for Christmas?
Have you seen the beutiful lights on Bond street?

All pink everything

Dress now on sale!,  pink coat now sold out (but keep checking as they do come back) also love the camel version , boots, Chanel brooch, Valentino bag, Chanel sunglasses

I honestly can't believe December is here. This year has flown by but it has been good and I will remember it fondly. I have big plans for next year so already looking forward to it!
But let's enjoy December first and I have some super Christmassy posts lined up for you with festive outfit inspiration for every budget. And no it's not going to be all pink. As much as I love the colour I tend to wear more red around Christmas time so there's a little giveaway. I hope you will like them.

But I couldn't not share a pink outfit and this dress which is my current favourite. It's so comfortable to wear and suitable for many occasions. You can dress it up or down. In this case I piled on the pink (never too much pink in my eyes) but of course you can town it down with a different colour coat. I like the idea of cream or navy.
What colour will  you be wearing for Christmas? What are your plans for December?

These boots were made for walking

Jumper H&M, skirt Zara, boots Stuart Weitzman, bag Chanel, sunglasses Miu Miu, ring YSL

I love visiting museums and galleries and V&A (where these photos were taken) is one of my favourites. As much as I love dressing up, as I'm getting older, comfort is more and more important, meaning heels often have to give way, especially when I'm museum hopping. To fully enjoy everything London has to offer and the extensive exhibitions followed by walks in the area, flats are often my footwear of choice. I love these boots so much that once it gets colder, they are rarely off my feet (expect to see them a lot!). And they look good both with dresses and skirts or over skinny jeans. They are definitely one of my favourite items for winter. I love the colour so much I'm actually considering buying the heeled version too. Is that crazy?
What is your favourite item to wear in winter?

Juxtaposition

jeans Current Elliott, shoes Gianvito Rossi, jumper Zara, gilet  Zara, bag Valentino, sunglasses Miu Miu

I  love mixing supposedly opposing items together. Like dressing down a pretty dress with a denim or leather jacket or adding dressier shoes to a casual outfit. Heels and jeans are just so good. Case in point  my ripped jeans and these booties (which were a major sale score in the summer sales). Another thing I seem to like (and am good at) buying things out of season. You get the best bargains if you're buying winter coats and boots in summer sales and  your bikinis and summer dresses in winter sales. Something to bear in mind with all the sales coming soon.

On another note I can't believe the Winter Wonderland is opening tomorrow. I guess Christmas really is just round the corner. London is looking super festive already and they've started playing Christmas songs and I am actually very excited. I love this time of the year!
BTW I've got loads of Chrismassy London pictures coming up on Instagram (few are there already). If you're into that kind of stuff you can follow me @adelamisspink.
Feel free to let me you IG links in comments below I always love discovering new accounts.
