April outfits

How is it May already?! I've enjoyed the warmest April (actually sunbathed a few times!) and am ready to have some fun in my last month back home. I'm flying back to London at the beginning of June. My time here has literally flown by. I've got few trips planned and some other exciting things.

Yesterday it was so warm that I actually wore no jacket for the first time this year! And it was nice :) it's meant to get colder, but for now I'm enjoying wearing as little as possible. Keeping the colour palette light with just a pop of colour thanks to my shoes.

Lately I've been gravitating a lot towards denim. Yves Saint Laurent expressed it perfectly:
“I have often said that I wish I had invented blue jeans: the most spectacular, the most practical, the most relaxed and nonchalant. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity - all I hope for in my clothes.”
Not much to add, denim is timeless and chic and will always have a place in my wardrobe.

I don't think I have ever worn more pink together. As you know I love my pink, but I always try not to overdo it. This time I'm wearing it a lot, but because it's all different shades and I neutralised it with a lot of blue, I think it kind of works. What do you think?

Summer sandals for every occasion (wishlist)

With the weather getting warmer and warmer, all I've been thinking about is adding some sandals to my summer wardrobe. Whilst most some of these are out of my budget, it's nice to see what's in stores, get an inspiration and the plan is to get few pairs soon. Bring on sandal weather :)

Denim shorts

First of all excuse the poor quality of this picture. It was taken by iPhone by my mum who mostly refuses to take pictures. I wanted to share this outfit with you, but didn't get a chance to photograph it properly. These shorts will be a major wardrobe player in the coming months though so you will get to see better pictures soon.

Life update

I have a weakness for pretty lacy lingerie, enjoying all the sunshine, coffee addicted but donuts are only a treat, new earrings for sparkly Easter (and beyond), shorts weather, I wear pink even for working out, pretty pastel Spring flowers, bright clutch is a great way to add colour to an outfit, neon nails and stripes are faves

 

Sorry for the blogging hiatus. I don't use my work as an excuse but I think it all got a bit too much lately. I work about 50 plus hours a week and also tend to spend about 20hrs on blogging and social media. It caught up with me and I've been feeling tired and lost my mojo a bit. But I love it all and always enjoy doing it all again. Now we have the long weekend to recharge batteries and I also have a week off in June which I'm really looking forward to. I am coming back to London for good and it'll be good to catch up with all my friends and enjoy London.

Wardrobe staple with a twist

Black leather biker jacket is a wardrobe staple that every woman should own. It's so versatile and adds an instant cool factor to any outfit. Not every woman would love a blush biker, but as the ultimate Miss Pink I totally had to buy one. I scored this little number at ASOS (now sold out unfortunately) sale for a quarter of a price (talk about bargain!), it's finally arrived and I am totally in love with it. Expect to see it a lot.

I love me some animal print :) Whether leopard or python it just adds a cool factor to any outfit. Styled with jeans it makes for an effortless look. I wore this outfit for my birthday two weeks ago for a coffee date with my friends. It was such a good day and I can't believe a fortnight has gone by since. Time is going too fast!
