Miss Pink Abroad

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you may have read that I had some exciting news to share. The time has come to reveal that next week I'm going to Czech republic for a few months.

I have been living in UK for nearly 13 years now and haven't spent much time with my family. My niece and nephew pictured above are now 7 and 5 and I can't wait to get to know them better and have a lot of fun with them.

My job allows it (it's online based) I felt I needed to get away for a bit, so I thought WHY NOT?

I'm planning to make a lot of little trips around Czech and abroad (it's in the middle of Europe - so convenient) and will be sharing it with you all. I hope you'll enjoy the journey with me.

Is it me or is everyone getting older but Kate Moss? How has she just celebrated her 40th birthday is beyond me. She looks incredible! I hope I look half as good at her age. In celebration of this special occasion a beautiful books has been released to celebrate her influence in fashion industry.

It's full of amazing photographs, from both her successful career and rock'n'roll life.

I have really enjoyed reading mine (not finished yet..) . It is a must have for every fashionista and will look good on any coffee table.

Oh I sure do love fashion books.

Excuse the unimaginative title, but I seriously couldn't think of one. Nothing in this outfit really stands out, but it all works so well together (in my opinion). I'm the biggest fan of timeless pieces that stand the test of time rather than one-season-hit-wonders and this is a great example of that.

I have to admit I was a bit cold wearing this outfit, but I just can't help dressing lighter when the sun comes out. Bring on Spring!

1. I'm loving pastels already. Can Spring come any faster? Valentino flats, River Island top and Chanel May nailpolish.

2. How cool is this pillow from H&M. I'm loving their Spring home collection. Ordered this and few more bits.

3. Sunday walk in the sunshine's ensemble: fur accents, pink and my Valentino flats.

4. I'm so used to carrying a big bag around that I sometimes struggle to pick just essentials for my mini Dolce and Gabbana bag. Especially when my keys take half of the space.. But a lippie is a must :) Love Nars Schiap

Great basics wishlist

This year I decided to stick to quality over quantity and invest more in good quality basics. I've realised time and time again that I get much more wear out of stuff I spend a bit more on. That's not to say you can't buy great items on high street (Zara, H&M and ASOS being the winners), but sometimes it's good to invest. Some of these items have been on my wish list for a while.. I've finally purchased Helmut Lang blazer in sales and can't wait to receive it. I've got my eyes on a Muubaa jacket that I'm hoping to buy next pay day. And over the course of the year hopefully I'll add these to my wardrobe too.

Bright hat and dark lips

Is it me, or has it suddenly got very cold. Time to wrap up warm! I hardly leave the house without my beanie these days and I was never a beanie type.. but who can say no to a bit of colour and warmth.

Purple rain

Bright shirts were made for grey rainy days and this magenta Equipment one is quickly becoming my favourite. It can be easily dressed up or down and brightens up any outfit.

On the good note, we're already half way through the week and January (my least favourite month)!

Unprepared

If you live in England, you may have enjoyed a beautiful sunny Saturday. I certainly enjoyed it as they have been rare and made the most of it by a long walk in a park. I was looking forward to taking lots of beautiful photos, including some outfits ones, but guess what? After taking few pics my friend realised the battery is about to die and that was the end of our photoshoot. I managed to get something out of even the few photos I had, but I learnt my lesson and next time I triple check the state of my camera.

1. I bought all of the above earrings for £2 each in New Look. Who says pretty things need to be expensive.. This girl likes a bargain :)

2. This Estee Lauder nail polish probably my favourite. The colour is amazing and it matches my new favourite skirt. Result!

3. Sunday sparkle for catching up with friends.

4. Last remaining  Starbucks cups.. I will miss them when they're gone.

5. And the big news at the end. I've gone on a vegan diet and I've given up all caffeinated drinks. I will report back.. Oh and do check H&M spring collection. I especially love the home section and ordered few bits already.

Daily uniform

This kind of outfit has become my uniform lately. Neutrals with a pop of colour. I love how the coat glams everything up even when I'm dressed down. Jeans, cute jumper and a pair of boots are as comfy as it gets and perfect for this crazy British weather.
