When I went to see the Italian Fashion Masters exhibition earlier this week, I was inspired by all these photograps from early 90s and decided to bring you more for today's Vintage Sunday. The early 90s and late 80s aka the time of the "Supers" hold good memories for me, as it's when I was growing up and got really interested in fashion. I used to dream about all these clothes I would wear one day. And the super models were my role models.
One great example is Linda Evangelista, that I liked for her often changing hair styles. Here in campaign for Alberta Ferreti from 1990 and 1991. Hot is the word! What do you think?

Party feet - the sale edit
The sales are in full swing with further reductions at many places. Temptation central! There is no better time to expand your shoe collection with some designer gems, whilst saving some money too. That's why I dedicated today's Party feet post to sales. I've picked my favorites from net-a-porter but there were many more I liked. I felt like a child in a candy shop. Here's the full selection. Remember the Lanvin heels I wrote about before? Now they've been reduced I had to include them. Which do you like the most? Let me know if you manage to score some.

Grab a bargain at Outnet
A good jacket is a basic every wardrobe needs. Actually every wardrobe needs more than one good jacket I think. That's why I'm very excited about this weekend's shop in at Outnet. Every Friday they pick out certain already heavily discounted items and reduce them even more for 72 hours. But you have to be quick because at these prices everything sells out fast. I'm a big fan of Outnet and bought many items there already. It's like it's the sales every day over there. Bargain hunter's paradise. But back to jackets. Stylish cover up for whenever it gets chilly is a must and I've picked my top five but check them all here. Whether it's a leather option or chic blazer they have it all. Which is your favourite? Let me know if you manage to snap some up.

Jewelled Wednesday - by Lara Bohinc
Can you believe it's Wednesday again? The time is just flying by, but the good news is, that it's time for another Jewelled Wednesday. Today by the lovely Lara Bohinc. The Planetaria collection contains twelve pieces from sterling silver and cubic zirconia or gold with diamonds and all with clear quartz. There is a selection of rings, earrings and pendants.
They are all very delicate and feminine and would make a great present for someone or yourself. Which is your favourite.

Masters of Style at Somerset House
As promised last week, I am reporting from the latest exhibition at Somerset House. Masters of Style is a collection of images of world famous Italian fashion brands, looking at their history through past campaigns, editorials etc. For each designer there is a screen showing their AW fashion show, so if you haven't seen the images yet, you can check out what's arriving into the stores about now and in upcoming weeks.
Each image has a little comment from the designers or Colin McDowell, who curated the exhibition. One photo looks better than the other. It gives you a great insight into the brand's history and philosophy. It's so inspiring and well presented. I absolutely loved it! You get a little booklet too, which has a lot of information and is nice addition to my fashion books collection.
Although photography is not allowed, I managed to sneakily take few pics with my iPhone to give you an idea what to expect. If you get a chance, go check it out as it really is good.

Lounge Lover
I met Sylvie Gabriel few months ago, when we attended same event. I just had to compliment on the trousers she was wearing, which happened to be by Lounge Lover - the label I was finally properly introduced to.
Based in London, Lounge Lover creates soft and feminine easy to wear pieces for lounging and relaxing. Belgian designer Sylvie created these clothes as a response to the growing need of sophisticated women in which they feel comfortable and beautiful. Gabriel says:“LOUNGE LOVER’s lifestyle is simply to embrace life in the most relaxed way. Since its launch in 2006 it's been gaining followers all over the world. For AW11 they've introduced 3 ranges: WINTER CHILL, COCOON and ETERNITEE’S to accommodate different needs.
Here are some pieces I'm loving for AW and don't forget for more info and stockists to check out Lounge Lover website.

Vintage Sunday - by Peter Lindbergh
I do love black and white photography. And I am a big fan of Peter Linbergh's work. This is a great example of it. You can't get more "Super" than Linda Evangelista and I like how he made her look sexy despite many masculine elements. What do you think?

Party feet - by Michael Lewis
Today's Party feet post's designer is a Central St. Martins Graduate, whose work I first spotted at London Fashion Week exhibitions. You couldn't overlook his vertiginous heels and I was hooked straight away. In the past, this talented man worked with Tom Ford for Gucci and also his latest SS 11 collection and also with Christopher Bailey at Burberry to name just a few, but he's already been getting praises for his own label.
Michael Lewis's AW 11 collection was inspired by Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut and features intricate detailing in dark hues. His shoes are very playful and feminine. But they are not for faint-hearted as the cigarette heels and sculptured platform add to serious heights. I am absolutely loving them. Are you?

Czech Marie Claire editorial
I promised to bring you more pictures from Czech magazines and this one is so me I just had to share it! I am known for my love of pink and this lipstick is just divine. I love the flower detail too. It's taken from Czech Marie Claire's beauty editorial. What do you think?

Summer at H&M
H&M just keeps on getting better. Not only they've recently announced their latest collaboration is with Versace and judging by the pictures we're in for a treat (I'm hoping to snap bits from the home section as well as the iconic dresses) their general look and quality of clothes is good indeed. I mean especially considering the prices. Here are some outfits that I think could give some higher priced labels run for their money. I'm not a massive fan of florals but am tempting to buy at least on of these pieces because it all just looks so pretty. Which is your favourite?
