These boots were made for walking

Jumper H&M, skirt Zara, boots Stuart Weitzman, bag Chanel, sunglasses Miu Miu, ring YSL

I love visiting museums and galleries and V&A (where these photos were taken) is one of my favourites. As much as I love dressing up, as I'm getting older, comfort is more and more important, meaning heels often have to give way, especially when I'm museum hopping. To fully enjoy everything London has to offer and the extensive exhibitions followed by walks in the area, flats are often my footwear of choice. I love these boots so much that once it gets colder, they are rarely off my feet (expect to see them a lot!). And they look good both with dresses and skirts or over skinny jeans. They are definitely one of my favourite items for winter. I love the colour so much I'm actually considering buying the heeled version too. Is that crazy?
What is your favourite item to wear in winter?

Have a stylish day.

Juxtaposition

jeans Current Elliott, shoes Gianvito Rossi, jumper Zara, gilet  Zara, bag Valentino, sunglasses Miu Miu

I  love mixing supposedly opposing items together. Like dressing down a pretty dress with a denim or leather jacket or adding dressier shoes to a casual outfit. Heels and jeans are just so good. Case in point  my ripped jeans and these booties (which were a major sale score in the summer sales). Another thing I seem to like (and am good at) buying things out of season. You get the best bargains if you're buying winter coats and boots in summer sales and  your bikinis and summer dresses in winter sales. Something to bear in mind with all the sales coming soon.

On another note I can't believe the Winter Wonderland is opening tomorrow. I guess Christmas really is just round the corner. London is looking super festive already and they've started playing Christmas songs and I am actually very excited. I love this time of the year!
BTW I've got loads of Chrismassy London pictures coming up on Instagram (few are there already). If you're into that kind of stuff you can follow me @adelamisspink.
Feel free to let me you IG links in comments below I always love discovering new accounts.

Coffee break

Bag Chanel, skirt Zara, shirt H&M, boots Nicholas Kirkwood, jacket Muubaa, sunglasses Miu Miu

It is no secret that I love coffee. I can't leave the house without having one and what's a meeting up with friends without some insta-worthy cappuccinos? I am a sucker for pretty crockery and always look for cute coffee shops that not only serve nice brew, but in nice surroundings and in pretty mugs too. I am preparing a post for you about my favourite coffee places (stay tuned) and will hopefully start posting more often soon.
I hope in the meantime you've been enjoying my posts so far. I would love to know what you think so far, what you liked, didn't like and what would you like to see in the future.
Leave me links to your blogs too, I always love to discover new ones.

Autumn layers

Dress Self portrait, jumper (underneath) Zara, boots Stuart Weitzman, bag Chanel, sunglasses Miu Miu, ring YSL

Well hello there November! I can't believe the British summer time is over and Fall is officially here and it actually now really feels like it too. Although there has been a lot of sunshine (which I'm loving), it's getting colder and foggy. Layers are definitely a must! I wasn't ready to store this Self portrait dress away for next year, so put my Zara jumper underneath (which I own in several colours) and voile - November ready. On another note I am enjoying wearing OTK boots again. I can't get enough. Prepare to see them a lot over the coming months.
And how beautiful is the nature looking with all the changing colours? I am stunned by the extensive colour palette. Definitely will try to spend a lot of time outside in the coming weeks.
Have you got any exciting plans for November?

Have a stylish day.
