July outfits

July was a great month! What with the great weather we've been having here in England, how could you complain?! I've been really enjoying the heat wave and living in shorts and short skirts. I just moved to a new place this week and will spend the weekend DIYing and decorating. Can't wait to share with you some pictures.
In the meantime here's what I wore in July and let's hope for a hot August too.

Summer beauty

Summer is in full swing so I thought I'd share with you few of my must haves I couldn't currently be without.  In the Summer months I always wear minimal make up, switching my foundation to tinted moisturizer. I've been using Chanel for years but this year I decided to try the new one from Clarins. I swear by their skincare and this did not disappoint.

White and gold are my favourite colours to wear during the hot months, so I just added these Barry M nail polishes to my collection (treasure chest and coconut). They last well and are such a bargain I love them.

The Multiple by Nars is a godsend. I can't get enough and plan to get loads of different colours. This Riviera one is a dusky pink and  I've been putting it on my eyelids and lips as well (it's not call Multiple for nothing..). The consistency is amazing, it feels great on the skin, lasts well and it's soft and dewy - perfect for Summer.

Now on the least glamorous - a deodorant. Let's face it - we all sweat in the summer and this one by Dove is the best deodorant I've tried in a while.

Rose garden

The best thing about Summer (apart from sunshine) is all the beautiful flowers everywhere and endless great options for photoshoots. Floral dress in a rose garden simply had to be done.

Power dress

Every woman should have a dress in her wardrobe that makes her instantly feel better. A powerful dress that hugs you in all the right places and hides what needs to be hidden. For me it's this dress. I never wore a wiggle dress before, but when I had discovered it on ASOS website last year it had caught my eyes and I'm glad it did. It feels perfect for my body and I already wore it for various occasions and it always felt right.

Dressed down lace

I wore this outfit to a Friday night's dinner and even though it was the beginning of a weekend I dressed it down a bit with a simple tee. I love this skirt because it's kind of an own design. I found a dress in a charity shop years ago and although it was quite hideous it was made out of a beautiful lace and was only £8! So I bought it, cut the top off and made it into a skirt.
Best bargain ever? How was your weekend?

Summer lovin'

First thing first. I never thought I'd share a picture of me in a bikini on my blog - so please don't be too judgemental. But it is a blog about my life and my style and quite frankly I've been living in my bikini lately. I'm so happy about UK's heat wave (long may it last) that I'm really trying to get the most of it and get as much vitamin D as I can (whilst getting a tan).

I'm happy that my daily essentials consist of SPF (I'm an SPF freak..), sunglasses (I need to add my to my collection), hat (protecting hair) my ADIDAS pool slides and the aforementioned bikini. I bought these ones in particular in last year's sale and love them more than I should admit..
