March outfits

I can't believe it's the last day of March! It's been a great month so April has a lot to live up to. I explored new cities and towns, got into regular cycling again and enjoyed a lot of sunny days.

 On Wednesday I turned 33 (yep I belong to the older blogger generation..). I had a great birthday and got some lovely presents. I have a good feeling about the year to come :)

Travel style

It was another sunny Saturday and my family and I went for an impromptu trip to another town. There is so much to see, I am really enjoying exploring my own country. We often travel all over the world, but forget about home and its beauties.
This time we visited Trebic, which is known for its Basilica of St. Procop and old Jewish town. They are both under UNESCO and the Jewish quarters and cementery are the only ones in UNESCO outside of Israel. The town is full of history and beautiful architecture.
My outfits for exploring are becoming a bit predictable, but what's better than a pair of jeans (I have become a JBrand convert - they are super stretchy and comfy), airy tee and pretty flats. Perfect for lots of walking and still stylish.

Hurray for first Friday of Spring and also first weekend which is nearly here :) It's meant to be hot! (temperature records have been broken in Czech republic) and I'm planning to take full advantage. Weekends are for easy dressing and what's easier than throwing on a simple dress and a pair of cute pumps. I've had this mini dress from H&M for years and worn it so many ways. I love that it's simple but not boring thanks to the stripes.

Spring is officially here! I couldn't be happier and all I think about is getting my wardrobe and make-up bag ready. I'm definitely re-purchasing Clarins double serum as I'm about to run out and it made a huge difference to my skin. I want to add the Clinique City block, because of my sensitive skin. You can never protect against sun too much. New polishes and lipsticks are always on my list and a new perfume for Spring is a must. Looking for a lighter scent.

Spring wishlist

I'm craving all things printed for Spring. Stripes are a non brainer for me, but florals I usually avoided. This time of the year is for a fresh start though and with that getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things. I've been also already looking at swimwear and shorts and other summery items. Time to plan a beach vacay..

Ripped and cool

I was looking for the perfect pair of ripped jeans for what feels like ever and then I found them at The Outnet. It's one of my favourite sites to shop. If you don't know it, head over immediately. It's a sister site of net-a-porter group and is an outlet full of discounted designer products. I found some great bargains there over years and check it regularly. You wouldn't believe the stuff you can find sometimes. And at unbelievable prices! AND this is NOT a sponsored post. I'm saying this because I genuinely love the site. The only problem is you have to be quick. The amazing stuff sells out quickly..

Now back to this outfit. I wanted to keep the look fairly casual, but took the opportunity of good weather to wear my Upper street shoes (another good site where you can design your own shoes!) for the first time after the winter.

As the warm days continued I well and truly made the most of it. It was nice not to wear jacket if only for a bit. I let my new neon skirt do the talking and kept accessories to minimum and keeping the rest of the colour palette soft.

It appears I wear stripes a lot. To be fair, they are my favourite print. They are timeless, chic and go with everything. What's not to love? When I first saw this skirt at ASOS I instantly knew I had to purchase it. I'm glad to be adding more red to my wardrobe too. I went from wearing it constantly (many years ago) to it being fully absent. I love the nautical vibe too. Perfect for the hottest day of the year so far :)
