Juicy Couture launch party

On Thursday night I had the pleasure of attending Juicy Couture's launch party for their new perfume Viva la Juicy Noir. It smells great and comes out towards end of July so look out for it. I had a really good fun and if you follow my instagram you would have already seen quite a few pics from the party. I wore a dress which you would have seen on the blog before. It's from H&M and it's so versatile I love it! I teamed it up with pumps from Carvela at Kurt Geiger and my beloved YSL clutch to add some colour.

Can you believe it's already end of May?! And what a month it's been. We've enjoyed two sunny bank holiday weekends (something that is quite unusual for UK), with temperatures dropping rapidly straight after, we had rain, the trees blossomed.. Here's some of my May looks. Which is your favourite?

Play time

Life can get to busy and serious sometimes. It's important to have some time off and have a laugh. I've been spending a lot of time in parks (with my friends with children), mostly dressed inapropriately but having fun nonetheless.

The bargain dress

I bought this dress in H&M recently for £7.99 (can't find it online) and it's so great that I actually bought it in another colour too. It's so easy to wear! Have you got any great bargain recently?

Hallo again

I always always add a dash of pink to an outfit. I've had these Dune shoes for years and hadn't worn them for ages (not sure why), but suddently they seem perfect again to add colour to my outfits and you can expect to see them a lot as I'm ready to welcome them to my life again.

Leopard business

Classic pencil dress can be a bit boring, but add a leopard print cardi which takes the edge off a bit and you still look like you mean business but cool too. Or so I believe. What do you think?

Five things

I've seen this post on many blogs, where people said five not so well known facts about themselves and I thought it would be fun to do the same. Hope you'll like what you read ;)

1. I am originally from Czech republic where all my family still lives. I am an auntie to niece and nephew and I miss them dearly.

2. Like most people I love travelling and the places I loved the most so far are NYC and Italy. It is my dream to learn and speak italian fluently.

3. I love coffee. Costa and Starbucks are my favourite. Starbucks Mocha Frappucino is my all time favourite drink, which I get way too often.

4. I love changing things a lot. I get bored easily, so I move furniture around, have tried every hair cut/colour possible, try new things..

5. I used to do drama for 9 years. I used to host various events and dreamt of being an actress. But I also always loved fashion and chose it as a career path instead.

Inside my make-up bag





Today I decided to give you a sneak peek into my make-up bag. When I was younger I tried various products and I think I've finally found what works best for me. I am not very adventurous when it comes to  make-up any more and most of the time wear the same. I've got loads of lipsticks and lipglosses as they are my fave, but this one by YSL is my top 1 and I wear it the most. 

My make-up bag is DKNY and I had it for years. The YSL Top secrets primer is the best thing ever. It feels so soft on the skin and really helps make-up to last longer. I use Chanel foundation and in the summer I switch to their tinted mosituriser. My blusher is YSL No 06 and I also us their black mascara. Lipstick is Rouge Pur couture No 110. MAC blusher brush and  one for concealer are great. So is the highlighter.

I am bit of a make-up snob but over the years I realized it's good to invest in certain things.

3. My favourite looks from the Chanel Cruise collection. I am a sucker for white dresses and pearls. The more the better.

4. Long weekend break in Sofitel London hotel means decadent breakfast of French toast, fruit salad and much more..

5. Mixing polka dot and stripes and adding a pop of colour with my YSL clutch.
