It's an instagram life #21

It's been another crazy week and I haven't been blogging as much as I'd like to lately.. Now my photographer is going away for three weeks too, so outfit posts will be difficult.. I'll just have to do my best :)
There's never too much glitter in a girl's life and all I wanna do now is wear my Jimmy Choo bits.
In my last outfit post I wore my Valentino sunnies for the last time. I lost them shortly after and I am still very upset. This was a little preparation before we started shooting. Love my YSL lipstick.
The best fruit salad I've had in a while. In Grand cafe right outside Harrods. Perfect enjoyed on a sunny day with a glass of champagne.

You can count on me to be wearing something pink and gold, stripes are favourite too.
Beautiful flowers, candles.. what more do you need to make your house look and smell lovely. I feel a very lucky girl.

Camouflage

I don't usually wear green. And khaki is a no-no for me, because I have a very fair skin. But it's been sunny and I've got a bit of a tan so guess I can get away with it. I bought T by Alexander Wang dress a while ago and love the simplicity yet interesting detailing in the form of asymmetric shoulder. And it's so versatile, so far I've worn it for all completely different occasions. I teamed it up with basic sandals, for a busy hot day, H&M earrings and Valentino sunglasses that I lost today and am very upset about. But such is life..

Choo lover

You may remember this post about my dream Jimmy Choo shoes that I wanted to wear for the wedding. As I'd been trying to be good with over-spending I never got them. But I couldn't stop thinking about them..
I'm going to a fancy garden party in August and thought they'd be perfect as they're wedges. Fast forward to yesterday and now I can call myself a proud owner of my first ever pair of Jimmy Choos. To say I'm in love is an understatement. And I keep on remembering Carrie Bradshaw when she said: "Hallo lover!"

Mellow yellow

I am so happy the sun is back and I am sure I'm not the only one... I celebrated the arrival with wearing the least amount of clothes I could get away with. My skirt is another Zara sale snag, top is from H&M. Simple strapless tops like these are my summer staple, they can be dressed up or down and are just so useful. I went to H&M and bought them in several colours. Shoes Aldo, bag and watch Michael Kors, sunglasses Valentino, name necklace from Tatty Devine, arty rings and bracelet YSL.

White Wonderland

Last week I went to see the lovely girls of Push PR at their White Wonderland event. Everything (even the cupcakes) were Christmas themed and got me really excited for the winter holidays. I was drawn to all the shiny, sparkly things and there are some goodies coming to Nelly.com. I've bought some stuff from the site already and am very happy with it.

Did I mention the shoes? Oh the shoes.. I especially need those sparkly ones above. With those on you're guranteed to be a belle of any Christmas party. Add some bling as a finishing touch and you're ready for cracking festivities.

Jewelled Wednesday - Eily O'Connel

Introducing another great designer that I discovered at Treasure. The original pieces by Irish Eily O'Connell caught my eye. The collection call Hybrid is inspired by nature and I am especially loving the rings! Here's few of my favourite, but do check out Eily's website for more. Introducing: Sophia Grace

Last week during my day of adventures I met the lovely Anne of Stylist and the city. I couldn't help but notice the fabulous dress she was wearing and compliment her on it. She then introduced me to Sophia Grace. The born and bred Londoner is self-taught designer and should be on your radar. If, like me, you like timeless classic pieces that are in no way boring, than she's your woman. It's an instagram life #20 - what a day :)

This week has been great and I even had a good Friday the 13th. Thursday stands out slightly and it's definitely the most related to this blog. I started the day with a press breakfast with Tatty Devine and had my name necklace made right in front of my eyes. I went for pink perplex with gold chain - very me. It's my new favourite accessory. How pretty does it look with my favourite flowers?
After I went to see the lovely Push PR girls at their Christmas press day. It looked so wonderful in there, it really got me into Christmas spirit. Look out for a proper post next week.

The afternoon was just as exciting. I got to meet few of my icons, including Dean and Dan of Dsquared2. Read all about it here.
After I went to see the people from Glam Media for some cocktail tasting and catching up with some of my favourite bloggers. The cocktail in question was Martini Royale - Martini Bianco with Prosecco, mint and some lime - yummy!

Meeting the icons

Yesterday I had a great day full of fantastic appointmens and events. I will write more about the other ones next time, but for today let's concentrate on attending of announcing the winner of the International Woolmark Prize European Award. See bellow Christian Winjants with one of his winning designs and also the official photo of the judges: Dean and Dan of Dsquared2, Alber Elbaz (Lanvin), Tim blanks (style.com), Alexandra Schulman (Vogue UK), Giles Deacon and Christine Arp (Vogue Germany). I apologise for the quality of my pictures as my camera is broken..

It was such an honour to be part of this event and be in the same room as many of my icons! I am the biggest fan of Lanvin's Alber Elbaz and now I love him even more as a person, because he was very funny a generally lovely. He announced the winner and I was hoping to have a photo taken with him but he was busy so I asked Dean and Dan of Dsquared2 instead, who were lovely too.
We sipped champagne and nibbled on canapés and it was a great afternoon.
I wore another sale score from Zara (skirt) and a top from Nelly. Outfit post coming soon.

Chanel Chance is my favourite perfume ever. I've been wearing it for years.. This summer I bought the deodorant too as it's lighter.
My latest buys from Essie. I have been wearing the pale Pink Diamond nonstop now, Funny face will be next.

Jewelled Wednesday - Azendi London

You may have read my tweets about the Bloggers showdown I was part of last week, you may have seen the outfit I wore, but here's a closer look at the jewellery I wore to create my Azendi look and also some other pieces I loved. Azendi is mostly about silver jewellery and I am more into gold, so I decided to mix it up a bit. I wore a statement necklace and few gold bangles and a stacking rings and a big cocktail ring. Neon skirt

Yesterday I attended a bloggers showdown event organised by Azendi London - shop full of beautiful jewellery. The task was to create our Azendi look - picking up and piling any jewellery we liked. You know me I like a bit of bling.. I went for a big statement necklace and piled on few rings and bangles. Check back for a close up of what I chose to wear.
