Stylish day out

I am very excited because as you may know I love a good exhibition. Going to galleries and museums is one of my favourite pass times. Tomorrow is the opening of a very appealing project: Masters of style: Celebrating the Stories behing Italian Fashion. I love Italy and its fashion and can't wait to check this out next week and of course tell you all about it. The exhibit is looking at defining moments from advertising campaigns of the biggest Italian fashion houses: Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo, Gucci, Missoni and Prada will all showcase a personally hand-picked selection of images from their collections and archives, bringing to life iconic style moments and offering an insight into the passion and influences behind their work. Sounds interesting? Well what are you waiting for! The exhibit runs from tomorrow until 14 August at the wonderful Somerset House. I can't imagine a more stylish day out, especially if you go shopping afterwards :)

Jewelled Wednesday - by DvF

Today's Jewelled Wednesday's post is very special to me, because I love Diane Von Furstenberg. She is an inspirational woman with passion for everything she does and I think we should all strive to be like that. She designed exclusive collection in partnership with H.Stern, which recalls the life, career and lifestyle of this powerful woman. Made in gold, diamonds and colored gemstones, the collection consists of very sophisticated bold rings, earrings, charms and bracelets. Get into shade

The summer is officially here and the sun has finally arrived even to London. I hope you've been enjoying great weather wherever you are. With the temperatures rising it sometimes becomes a real challenge to stay stylish and office appropriate. The one accessory you should never forget, is a pair of cool sunnies. They are great way to add an interest to your outfit whatever the rules (although I do suggest to take them off when inside!). Last few seasons there have been a big focus on eyewear and with so many styles around, there truly is something for everyone. Currently I'm obsessing over these cool pieces by Kate Spade. Vintage Sunday - Vanessa Paradis

Wow this week has gone quick and it's time for another Vintage Sunday post. This week has been exciting in the sense, that all the July issues of my favourite magazines have come out. I love reading new mags and always can't wait to see the covers. The one that has dissapointed me, is by Vogue. Vanessa Paradis is their cover star and is such a beauty, but this cover is just wrong. I don't really want to be saying bad things I'd rather concentrate on the positives. So here I'm bringing you a cover of Slovak magazine Eva with Vanessa Paradis, that I think is great. They let her beauty shine through, altough I'd prefer if they put less writing on. It's unnecessary. Now tell me. Which one do you prefer?

Jewelled Wednesday by Aurelie Bidermann

Not many things excite me as much as a good accessory (that's why I love jewelled Wednesdays).  It easily transforms outfit from plain to stand-out. If it consists of two of my favourite colours - pink and gold - you can imagine the level of my excitement. I wrote about Aurelie Bidermann before. Her statement jewellery has the right amount of edge I like. This studded cuff is to die for. Available at net-a-porter.com. Good way to add colour and interesting detail to all black outfit.
