Johanna Hehir
I've got one more post for you about wedding dresses! It may seem too much, but being surrounded by them for four days, had a big impact on me! I saved the best to the last. My favourite collection was by designer Johanna Hehir. She has been in the tough industry for 20 years, but I can tell you I've never met a lovelier person. She's really down to earth and obviously very talented. Not that I'm planning to get married any time soon, but I've picked my top choices for ceremony and reception, showing at the top, and the rest are few other beautiful examples from AW'10 collection, taken backstage at the show.
Have a stylish day.
For all the brides
I can't help, but talk a bit more about wedding dresses. As I was surrounded by them for the past four days, it would be difficult not to. I want to introduce you a designer who is like a John Galliano of the bridal world. His show was AMAZING! Quite theatrical, very extravagant, all big hair and loads of accessories. I loved it, but for a wedding dress I'd prefer something simpler. But the detailing and finishes were awesome. Ian Stuart is a genius! I'd recommend you check out his website ianstuart-bride.com. I am bringing you an official picture of one of his dresses for SS'10 and also some behind the scenes from the show. Enjoy.
Have a nice day.
Sex and the City premiers in New York
The wait is nearly over! The Sex and the City movie sequel premiered in New York yesterday and the fabulous opening in London is on thursday. I can't wait to see the movie, the dresses the stars will wear for the Europe's premier and of course all the costumes in the film. Here are the outfits the main actresses wore in New York. They all look stunning, but I especially love the colourfull outfits of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis.

The wedding show
gorgeous Martha in Alan Hannah
I've been fortunate enough to work backstage at yet another fashion show, this time A Wedding show at the Saatchi Gallery on London's King's Road for buyers and press. I've been surrounded by stunning models and wedding dresses and met some amazing designers (lovely Amanda Wakeley,Johanna Hehir and Susanne Neville among others). Suzanne Neville dressed quite a few famous brides and a wife of Gary Lieneker, stunning Danielle Bux was one of them and appeared as a guest celebrity model. I'm not planning getting married any time soon, but I am getting an idea of what I would look for in a wedding dress. If you have any questions, let me know.
Have a stylish day.
Martha in Amanda Wakeley like her womenswear, the wedding collection has simple silhouettes, with intricate detailing. The collection is quite minimalistic, yet stunning!

A day in a museum
As I said before, I like visiting museums, to soak in some culture and get inspired. There is such a great selection of museum and galleries in London, that the possibilities are endless. My favourite one is Victoria and Albert Museum, which I have visited again recently. I went to see the Grace Kelly exhibition I told you about before, and also the jewellery section on 2nd floor. It's a must see for every fashionista! They've got amazing selection of accessories dating back to ancient times and up to present. It's breath taking watching what people wore in the past and how the trends change. It's so so inspiring. Here are few of my favourite pieces. As you may know I am a big fan of statement necklaces.. Stunning!

Karolina Kurkova
My model crush Karolina Kurkova is a real inspiration. I am a big fan of her, partially for patriotic reason, as she was born in Czech Republic like me, but also she has had an amazing career and is a role model. This Victoria's Secret Angel had a baby at the end of last year and was back into her modelling body straight away. She returned to catwalk at Louis Vuitton AW'10 collection, looking great. Lately she has been showing her style at The Met Ball in New York and of course at the Cannes Film Festival.

Dior Cruise
John Galliano didn't dissapoint. His Cruise collection, shown in Shanghai, was very chic, very Dior. There were some interesting retro pieces, loads of girly dresses with ruffle details and some beautiful red carpet gowns. He did what he does best, all with nice detailing. Bring on the summer! Here are few of my favourite looks.

Dior fine jewellery
There's a collection I'm lusting after at the moment. It's of fine jewellery by creative director Victoire de Castellane for Dior. It consists of rings, earrings and necklaces in white, yellow and rose gold with or without diamons. It arrives to Dior stores in June and is a real treat.

Cheryl Cole - fashionista
Cheryl Cole has gone from a reality TV star to WAG to nation's sweetheart and a true fashionista and a platinum selling solo artist. In the last year especially, she has been wearing some fabulous outfits, looking great on and off duty. The proof of being a fashion's darling is the amount of front covers she appeard on, including magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, where you can see her in June issue. She looks stunning and everyone who has worked with her says, she is a nice person as well. She has been a good ambassador of british designers, wearing outfits by Julien McDonald, Giles Deacon and Jonathan Saunders to name just a few. As her career goes from strengh to strengh, I wish her her private life will catch up and will be looking forward to more great outfits by this inspiring woman.

Fashion exhibitions
This year is a fashion feast for fashion obsessed. There are some great exhibitions all over the world including the ones I told you about earlier this year in Amsterdam and New York, there is also a Contemporary Fashion exhibition and YSL exhibition in Paris and London just boasts with them. Next week will see the start of The Browns Exhibition celebrating Brown's 40 years in fashion, also from 28th May you can see fashion past and present at the newly renovated Modern Galleries of London in Museum of London and June 3rd is when Maison Martin Margiela 20 exhibiton starts at Somerset House. And let's not forget about The Grace Kelly exhibiton at V&A which is on now. All very interesting and inspiring I can't wait to check out as many as possible and report back to you.

Amanda Wakeley SS'10
I used to be more of a trousers girl. I don't even know why, they just always seemed to be an easier option. But that all changed and I'm falling more and more in love with dresses. I mean they are so easy to wear! You can just throw them on, add a bit of a jewellery and you're done. And they're even easier to take from day to night. Just add heels for the evening, whilst during the day ballerinas, or when it's warmer, some sexy flat sandals will do. Perfect!
For an amazing selection of dresses look no further than Amanda Wakeley. I like the minimalistic aproach and amazing silhouettes. She's using lot of draping that is so NOW and also very forgiving (if your body is not entirely ready for summer). Check out her website Amandawakeley.com, pop into her store on London's Fulham Road or any Harvey Nichols in the country. You won't regret it!
Have a stylish day.

Stylish home
I not only love fashion, but anything stylish. I've been to some very cool places, bars, clubs, homes and paid a special attention to decor. I very much appreciate it, when people express themselves not only throught clothes, but through their home as well. You can expect in my place a lot of black, white and pink(same as in my wardrobe). I saw this armchair from John Lewis and loved it straight away. I wouldn't go overboard with pink, but I can see this somewhere in the corner of a living room, adding a bit of colour and a feminine touch. Amazing! Availabe to order online or instore.

The Met Ball
The Met Ball at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is one of the most glamorous events. This year it saw the opening of the exhibiton American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity which I told you about last month (I'm definitely going to see during my holiday in New York). Here I am bringing you my favourite frocks from last night's event. Thumbs up to Emma Watson for flying the british flag in Burberry. You can see, why she is the face of the label, as she looks stunning in this Chrispher Bailey design.
