London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week must be one of the most exciting time of year for all fashionistas. New York, Milan, Paris.. they're all great but there is something about London you won't find anywhere else. No wonder geniuses like Alexander McQueen and John Galliano all started here. Londoners like to be different, original, quirky, innovative when it comes to fashion.
That's why I was very excited to be a part of it. Yesterday I had the opportunity to work backstage at Mulberry show and did I enjoy it!! I met the creative director behind the label Emma Hill, who is lovely and really down to earth.
The collection was amazing! I loved the fresh minimal make-up and simple auburny hair. And of course the clothes and accessories!! The new purple animal print Alexa handbag is on my Christmas wishlist.
And the front row didn't dissapoint either. Among the stars attending were Olivia Palermo, Cat Deely, Alexa Chung to name just a few..

Good news for all fashionistas. Another issue of Love magazine is coming out August 23rd and again they didn't dissapoint with visual feast. There is 8 covers you can collect and I am warning you now to get yours as fast as you can, as last time they sold out pretty quickly. How stunning are these pictures of new Burberry make-up campaign! I'm a big big fan of Christopher Bailey, therefore can't wait to check this range out. The pictures look great and when I've tried some of the products, I will of course let you know my feedback.

I found another great accessory to update your wardrobe with. As you probaly know by now, I love pearls, and this necklace by Vivienne Westwood is just so amazing! It will go with everything from daywear straight to dressing up and evening outfit. It's from the AW collection so not in the stores yet, but make sure you look out for it.

When you're working backstage at a fashion show, there is sometimes lots of waiting around. For hair and make-up to be done, for the show to start.. What a better way to fill the time, than to try some of the lovely shoes or accessories you've got around you. I played dress up with shoes... Here are some pics.

My week at Ascot - day 5

Last day is over. It's been a good week of both fun and hard work and now it's over. Matthew Williamson was watching the show and was really happy and then popped into the backstage area to say hallo. How nice of him! I missed a photo having taken with him, but maybe next time.. Lovely stylist to the stars Gemma Shanley came over to see how's everything and also to help pack up. It was a long day, checking if nothing got damaged or lost after all those shows and getting it ready for returns. We celebrated with yet more champagne and said good byes to each other. I've met some great people and made friends I'm gonna keep in touch with and will hope, that we will meet in a year's time when Royal Ascot is gonna be celebrating 300 years.
