Hair heros

I am very low-maintenance when it comes to beauty. The less products I have to use the better. That's why it's even more important to me that they work well.

My hair is very dry after years of dying it and using hot styling tools so a good moisturising hair mask is essential. I swear by Kerastase products and have been using this mask for years. I also sometimes treat myself to their shampoo.

Bumble and Bumble is another great brand. The Curl conscious defining cream is the best if you're curling your hair. But be careful not to use too much. A little goes a long way.

Bed head After party is a leave-in conditioner I have been using for about ten years. It smells great, but mostly it's a miracle worker. You can put it into wet or dry hair any time you want and it makes it feel great but doesn't grease it or weight it down. It's the best! I don't see them much in salons any more (cry), but you can get them at ebay at great prices.

L'oreal Elnett are known for their quality. I use the heat defence spray and hair spray to keep my hair at check. High street products with high end qualities.

What are your hair heros?

1. Pastel bargains in the sales. Lace top from River Island and ankle jeans from H&M (ok that one wasn't sale but still a bargain)
2. My favourite ever hair masque. Does wonders to my hair. Love Kerastase products.
3. Making most of the gorgeous weather and trying to spend as much time by a pool as possible. (red bull is my weakness)
4. Throw back Thursday. Fun in the snow earlier this year. Kind of looking forward to wearing my J.Crew jumper again (although I much more prefer the sun)
5. Sunny Sundays are for drinking cocktails and eating al fresco.

Have a stylish day.

Product I can't live without

I've discovered another product that's already made a massive change to my life (hair). From using straightening irons and colouring my hair (don't we all) my hair is quite damaged and very dry. I always use hydrating masks and leave in conditioners but the one I was using has been discontinued. Luckily my stylist at Tony&Guy has recommended Elixir K Ultime by Kerastase and I'm hooked already. Not only it gives my hair amazing texture, it tames it and smells divine too! I can see a big difference after I use it. You can put it into both wet and dry hair and it's a simple way how to refresh it. Can you tell how much I love it?

Product I can't live without

Sometimes I have the urge to shout about s beauty product that I can't imagine my life without as it's making it easier and more glamorous. One like that is Thermal mask by Kerastase. Let's face it, no matter how fabulously dressed you are and how perfect your make-up looks if your hair isn't behaving, it all looks wrong. It all starts with good condition. Often styling, pollution and extreme weather are damaging to your hair so make sure you use masks weekly. I love Kerastase products and this masks is exceptional. It's a bit pricey, but you only need a little bit so it will lasts you ages and it's definitely worth every penny. It smells great and will leave your hair nourished and silky. Result!
