Stylish home - candles by Tom Ford

Let's face it. Everything Tom Ford creates is desirable. My second new feature for this year is stylish homes and I think it's only fair to start my first post with the creative genius. When I found out he's come out with a Private blend collection of candles I knew I had to have at least one! They not only look very stylish with simple black design and only letters TF printed on them, they will make your house smell gorgeous too. They come in three scents: Tobacco Vanille, Oud Wood and Tuscan Leather. If you've got a burning desire to treat yourself, this is a £50 well spent. Available only at Selfridges at the moment but will be nationwide from February. They are a great way to accesorise your home.

Jewelled Wednesday by Aurelie Bidermann

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you enjoyed your New Year's Eve celebrations, wore your most fabulous outfits and entered 2011 with style. Sorry I haven't been able to post until today due to various reasons, but I'm glad to be back. I've got loads of new exciting features for this year and I hope you will enjoy them all and continue reading my style file. Make sure you keep up with what's going on on my twitter and also my facebook page.
My first new feature is dedicated to jewellery. If you've been reading my blog regularly, you must know that I am a BIG fan of jewellery. So I decided to give it a regular post. It's going to be called Jewelled Wednesday and as the name suggest you can expect it every Wednesday. And I'm going to start with wonderful pieces by Aurelie Bidermann. I've discovered work by this talented french designer online at Mytheresa.com and it caught my eye straight away. Beautiful selection in gold and silver tones, they will add interesting touch to any outfit. My favourite is the snake ring, but all the pieces are very pretty. You can check and shop the whole collection here.
Have a stylish day.

Czech it out - czech beauties

As in Czech Republic we are celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve (as in most of Europe), I am bringing you pictures of some Czech models, who caused quite a stir on the fashion scene, to celebrate Czech beauty.  Yesterday I dedicated a whole post to Karolina Kurkova because she is one of my favourites, but I feel bad for picking just one as there are so many. For example Eva Herzigova who is the original Wondebra girl and whos advert for ithe famous brand was very popular. Or Hana Soukupova. They couldn't get enough of her in Paris and she shot some beautiful editorials and campaigns there. And let's not forget Petra Nemcova who is a survivor of the famous Tsunami in Thailand and after the horrific experience she set up a charity to help other victims. There is also Daniela Pestova, who like most of the others was snapped up by Victoria's Secret. And the list could continue. The world can't get enough of  beauties from the original Eastern block and you can see why.  Let me know who's your favorite and also if you think there is someone else I should have difinitely mentioned.
Have a stylish day.

Karolina Kurkova - more than an angel

I am very proud to be writing about today's style icon, because like me, she is originaly from the Czech Republic. The 26-year old super model started her career very early and became the youngest model to appear on the cover of Vogue US. Karolina Kurkova is recognized all over the world and has covered countless of the most prestigious magazines, walked catwalks around the globe and has been a face of several campaigns. Plus she is one of Victoria's Secret Angels. And there's more. She had her first baby boy in October last year and returned to modeling in a record time. Karolina was named "Model of the Year" at the 2002 VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards, in part for her work ethic, having worked twenty-three weeks straight. She is not only a hard worked but also a well known humaritian. Beautiful and helping others. I am a big fan of her and proud to be Czech as well as her and wish her all the best in her career.

Orange beauty

I was looking for a New Year's Eve dress and came across this beauty by Michael Kors. I'm not sure if it's good for such a night but I fell in love with it straight away. And that's something to say because orange is my least favorite colour. But I love how it's accessorised with gold and looks stunning. It reminds me of summer and it's probably more suitable for the warmer months. I imagine a New Year's Eve dress in darker, richer colours, so I will keep on looking for that although I couldn't not share this one with you. Available at net-a-porter it's an investment worth every penny. Beautifully made with lovely ruching, it will flatter every figure and hide well any holiday overindulgence.
Have a stylish day.
