Photoshoot with Yasmin

Last week I had the pleasure to do a photoshoot with lovely Yasmin. You may remember my interview with her last year, but if you missed it read it again here. Also check out her facebook page and become a fan, because this girl is going to be big! It was a very cold grey day and considering I'm not very photogenic I think she did a great job. We are going to do more shoots in the future so stay tuned. And make sure to let me know what you think. Show your heart - with Prada

Yesterday I promised you some LOVEly items with which you might treat yourself and who better to fit the bill than Prada. On Friday I received their Valentine's look book and let me tell you I want the whole collection. It's all very cute with little hearts and um especially tempted to buy the iPhone cover. But whatever takes your fancy. Nothing wrong with showing your heart sometimes.

Vintage Sunday - by Mario Testino

In today's Vintage Sunday I decided to bring out pictures of Kate Moss as a celebration of her engagement. I picked photos by Mario Testino, because I love his style of work, their mutual work is quite well known. You may say that some of the pictures are not very old (therefor vintage), but I think in fast paced industry like fashion even last season is vintage.. Neither Kate Moss nor Mario Testino need an introduction, so I'm just going to say congratulations Kate on the happy news and hopefully we'll see many more great pictures of you.

Party feet by Zara

Spring/summer is all about colour. Embrace the trend with this fabulous pair of shoes by Zara. The blocked heel gives a nod to the 70s trend so you'll kill two birds with one stone. Perfect with flares and a blouse or a maxi dress and stacked up bangles for bohemian feel. Take note that this pic is doing them no justice (need to start using proper camera), the colours are better in reality. Electric blue, shocking pink and canary yellow. Love!
Need to add that Zara is one of my favourite high street shops and as always are stocked up full with their version of the best trend. I've already spotted loads of pieces I love in there and will be stocking up and of course reporting.

Buy of the week

This week's buy of the week is yet another handbag. I didn't use to like many on the high street but they've improved massively and you can get some gorgeous pieces for really good price. This one is from Dorothy Perkins and is perfect in so many ways. Not only is the coral colour going to be huge in the upcoming season, you can easily wear it with anything. Pair with pinks and blues for colour blocking or give a pop of colour to your nudes. The boxed shape reminds me of Hermes so it's got a timeless potential. What's not to love? And did I mention the £30 price tag?

Jewelled Wednesday - by Kenneth Jay Lane

I'm always looking for great statement necklaces. They are an easy way to dress up a simple tee. I was happy to discover Kenneth Jay Lane's jewellery collection. They do an extensive range including rings and bracelets too, but I specially love these interesting pieces. Sarah Jessica Parker is a fan of this art deco inspired costume jewellery, so I'm in a good company.They've got a great selection at net-a-porter, but outnet tend to get some bargained ones and other places stock them too. Make sure you check it out.
