Jewelled Wednesday - dangly earrings

As you may know from this post I am going to a wedding soon. I've bought a dress and picked the shoes, now it's time for some bling. My dress is asymmetric one-shoulder, meaning I won't be wearing any necklace and am on a lookout for some earrings. There are some truly amazing ones online, bearing in mind my outfit choice, here's few I'm considering. Something for every budget.

Let your earrings do the talking

Yesterday I realised, I haven't bought a pair of earrings for ages. The reason being I haven't worn any for some time. But that's a shame, because earrings are a great accessory! So I decided to have a look what's on offer and get some. And to make it fair, I've picked something for every budget. The first selection is from net-a-porter.com and the other from Topshop.com. Both equally pretty, there's not excuse not to add some shine to your outfits this festive season thanks to sparkly earrings. Now the tough decision is which ones to pick. Which are your favourite?

Today's outfit is quite casual, great for running around during the day, but will work for cocktails in the evening too. Just throw on a biker to keep you warm and you're ready to go.

Outfit inspirations

It's definitely a jumper season at the moment, not just because jumpers are a huge trend, but because they will keep you warm. I'm also having a red moment. Red is such a festive colour (altough looks great all year round) and with the Christmas coming up, I can't get enough of it. The leather pencil skirt is quite prim, so I paired it with the star jumper to funk it up. I used same ring as before, otherwise the rest are from last week's arrivals to net-a-porter.

Outfit inspirations

Today I am introducing a new feature which I'd like to make quite regular if people enjoy it. I love styling and creating outfits and decided to share my ideas with the world (you readers). Please let me know what you think in the comment box bellow. I am going to be creating looks from various sites, but few first I prepared already, are all from net-a-porter.com. I went a bit crazy virtual shopping as if money was no object. Well in this case it isn't, because these posts are meant to provide inspiration. If you can afford all I suggest (lucky you) then great, if not there are plenty of cheaper, similar versions on high street I'm sure, so don't worry if you find things here too expensive. I can't afford most of them but it doesn't mean I couldn't get inspired by this. Also you wouldn't have to wear necessarily the head to toe look,you may like some combinations and give it your own original finish. I still hope you'll enjoy these.

I'm always looking for great statement necklaces. They are an easy way to dress up a simple tee. I was happy to discover Kenneth Jay Lane's jewellery collection. They do an extensive range including rings and bracelets too, but I specially love these interesting pieces. Sarah Jessica Parker is a fan of this art deco inspired costume jewellery, so I'm in a good company.They've got a great selection at net-a-porter, but outnet tend to get some bargained ones and other places stock them too.
