London Fashion Week day 4

Today has been a very exciting day. Lots of the big name designers had their shows on today, but unfotunately I didn't get to see any live. However I went to the live streaming of Burberry show at Picadilly Circus in London, which was full of very stylish people watching the show. I truly enjoyed it and Christopher Bailey again didn't dissapoint. The show was a star studded event as expected (spotted at front row: Alexa Chung, Mario Testino, Lily Donaldson, Anna Wintour and the list goes on..) and the collection another top one. I love him and his designs! Next season I definitely have to apply for a ticket. But at least I've got pictures for you live from Picadilly and I am going to fully report on the show tomorrow.
I also bumped into the very talented Felder Felder ladies today, who seem really busy, but agreed to have their picture taken. And there was loads more, including meeting Alexander Wang at Liberty. All about it tomorrow and upcoming days. Stay tuned :)
Have a stylish day.

Tough times...

It was a sad day yesterday for many fashion lovers as british designer Luella Bartley announced that her fashion label LUELLA ceased trading after a key financier pulled out. Although she is saying there are some other options, that will be considered in the coming months, it is unlikely that her SS '10 will hit the shops. It would be a great loss for Britain as she always receives great reviews for her "English eccentric" style. After studying at St. Martins college, Luella worked as a journalist for Evening standard and Vogue and eventualy decided to make her own collection of clothes. Showed at a friends flat, it proved so popular that the next season she was showing at London Fashion Week. Then she showed in Milan and New York, steps that proved to be a success, then she returned back to London and opened a shop in Mayfair. Worn by the likes of Alexa Chung and Sienna Miller the fashion industry just won't be the same without her. Let's hope she can find money elsewhere and continue with her quirky label for the sake of us all.
