Purple rain

Bright shirts were made for grey rainy days and this magenta Equipment one is quickly becoming my favourite. It can be easily dressed up or down and brightens up any outfit.

On the good note, we're already half way through the week and January (my least favourite month)!

Unprepared

If you live in England, you may have enjoyed a beautiful sunny Saturday. I certainly enjoyed it as they have been rare and made the most of it by a long walk in a park. I was looking forward to taking lots of beautiful photos, including some outfits ones, but guess what? After taking few pics my friend realised the battery is about to die and that was the end of our photoshoot. I managed to get something out of even the few photos I had, but I learnt my lesson and next time I triple check the state of my camera.

1. I bought all of the above earrings for £2 each in New Look. Who says pretty things need to be expensive.. This girl likes a bargain :)

2. This Estee Lauder nail polish probably my favourite. The colour is amazing and it matches my new favourite skirt. Result!

3. Sunday sparkle for catching up with friends.

4. Last remaining  Starbucks cups.. I will miss them when they're gone.

5. And the big news at the end. I've gone on a vegan diet and I've given up all caffeinated drinks. I will report back.. Oh and do check H&M spring collection. I especially love the home section and ordered few bits already.

Daily uniform

This kind of outfit has become my uniform lately. Neutrals with a pop of colour. I love how the coat glams everything up even when I'm dressed down. Jeans, cute jumper and a pair of boots are as comfy as it gets and perfect for this crazy British weather.

Spring awakening

 

So here it is. My first outfit post of 2014. It's been a long time coming.. but what with the constant rain and me being constantly ill. Yes I can't seem to shake it off. I bet a week in tropics would do me good ;) Need to plan something soon.. Of course dressing like it's Spring isn't helping.. but that's just me. The new year started and I'm already counting down to Spring. And as soon as I see a bit of sunshine I forget all sense of seasons and dress as if it's much warmer than it is..

1. Designer shoes are my weakness. These were my options for NYE. Valentino and Jimmy Choo are my faves, but really want to add Christian Louboutin to my collection this year (hopefully for my birthday in March)

2. Like Carrie Bradshaw, I like my money right where I can see it. In my wardrobe. Which has been newly tidied and reorganised. Looking forward to spring and shedding layers and wearing lots of colour.

3. There's never enough sparkle. Got these earrings in New look for £2 and love them! This girl likes a bargain :)

4. January and February are my least favourite months, so I will spend probably many evenings watching SATC with a glass of red. Just like Friends, you can never watch SATC too many times.

5. #tbt 21st February 2011 was a day that made history. Burberry decided to screen their catwalk show on the screen at Picadilly Circus and I was there to witness it. Now everyone is live streaming, but that was special! Wearing Jonathan Saunders dress.

Trend I've been loving for a while, but haven's seem able to pull it off is a full skirt. Whether you dress it up or down like some of my favourite bloggers, it sure looks great and oh so stylish. I've tried one full skirt, hated it and decided it wasn't for me, but I want to push my boundaries in fashion and try the look again. Maybe it was just that particular skirt that wasn't right. Right? I am so tempted by the pink/lilac one worn by Amber and Liz. All these skirts are by Tibi (find these and more here), but there is a lots of options on the high street too.
