Pink details

For me, outfit is always in the detail. I often wear very minimalistic clothes, but adore unexpected detailing, like added frill or bow (or both). With this Miu Miu top it was love at first sight. I bought it from the Outnet (site I love!) and even though it's a bit big (they had only big sizes left) I think it'll be good for adding volume to skinny jeans and tight skirts. J'adore.

LBD - little business dress

 

Every woman needs a great LBD in her wardrobe. Little black dress, that will make you feel awesome at any party, but also a black dress that shows you mean business! Something that looks smart and sophisticated, but add edgy accessories like studded shoes and you can go from meetings to a bar. I bought this little number in ASOS sale and it feels so perfect for so many occasions, I know I'll be wearing it loads.

Weekend casuals

 

We're halfway through the week! Time to start planning (long if you live in England) weekend adventures and casual outfits to go with it. Sometimes it's best to just throw on your jeans, pointy flats and a nice tee.

Transitional piece

August has been really playing with us temperature-wise. It can go from hot to cold within minutes. That's why it's important to have good transitional pieces. Like these pants. They're light-weight and perfect when the sun comes out, but keep me warm(ish) in the evening when it the temperature drops.

I just add a light top and put a jacket in my bag. Sorted.

InstaMonday

1. My new Miu Miu top which I wore it straight away to an important meeting.

2. Trip to Burlington Arcade in London must include a stop in Laduree. I love macaroons (who doesn't?!)

3. Admiring pink flamingos and most importantly beautiful shoes at Sophia Webster's shop window in Burlington Arcade

4. Sad that peonies season is nearly over, and buying myself last few bunches for no reason

5. Most used items last week were my Ipad and pretty coffee mugs.

Thinking ahead

 

If Hedi Slimane (for Saint Lauren) decides on a trend, who is Zara to argue.. So the high-street giant went all grungy for autumn/winter. I can promise you now, you won't see me in tartan, fishnets or anything of that sorts. But I do like animal print a lot (if you read regularly I'm sure you're aware) and I am a bit in love with this coat. I'll be hunting it down.

Back to layers

 

Even though we're still having decent weather and skirts are still a good option, the evenings are definitely getting chilly and I always take extra layer to put on. This denim jacket is a perfect option. I bought it years ago on ebay for under tenner and it's Diesel too! What a bargain :) This outfit is actually full of them..
