Nelly.com - my picks

You may have read here about my trip to Push PR head quarters last week and my obsession with everything Nelly. Last week I showed you some shoes and today I'm bringing my pick of super cool clothes from Nelly.com. surprisingly I didn't choose anything pink, but black, white and gold play a major part in my wardrobe too.
I checked the website and none of this is online yet, but I'll be keeping my eyes open. I love anything with peplum and the strapless top is awesome! The item just bellow is a playsuit. I'm not the biggest fan of those, but I think I need this one in my life. And how gorgeous is the top with sequins or white dress with gold sequins?! Girl can never have too many sequins in her life..
I love the simplicity of these items with interesting detailing. I love Nelly, do you?
Have a stylish day.

Fitflop - the capsule collection

It would be easy to say something is great just because it was for free. But that's not why I'm here. I tell the truth or I'd rather say nothing at all. I was given a free pair of UNO sneakers and let me tell you, I'm not a sneaker girl. I don't own a pair of converse or any similar kind, only a pair of trainers that I strictly use for running or working out.
But now I own a pair of mink sneakers from the capsule collection by Fitflop (sold exclusively at Harvey Nichols) and I am a happy owner. They felt like a godsend during the torrential rain period, because another shoes I have been successfully avoiding are wellies. Fitflops originally started with making those type of shoes that help you make fit, but now they offer much wider range and the capsule collection is worth checking out. They are made of a special leather are the softest thing I have ever put on my feet (excluding slippers) and walking in them feels so nice I actually couldn't believe it. Now... I'm not gonna lie. As much as I love them I'm not going to magically become a sneaker girl, but I know I will get a good wear out of them, because they really are comfy and I do like the hint of pinkish colour of the sole. The selection is much bigger, so have a look and you can buy the ballerinas here and sneakers here. If you do purchase them or own them already, let me know what you think.

Vintage Sunday - the 80s take II.

Last week I was reminiscing about the 80s. It was an era that gave us Flash dance, Rubic's cube and neon - that has made a great comeback. We watched Dynasty and listened to Madonna and New Kids on The Block (at least I did..).
But today let's concentrate more on the fashion. The only cover I could find from 1981 - the year I was born - was August issue of Vogue with Princess Diana who just got married to Charles. Wasn't she pretty?!
Towards the end of the 80s the supermodels have started to appear. As you can see Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford were among the first. Claudia, Stephanie and more followed. They all looked very fresh faced no? What is your favourite memory/thing that came out of the 80s?

Party feet - by Nelly.com

Last week I went to visit the lovely girls from Push PR and see what nice things they had on show. I was instantly hooked on the massive shoe selection from nelly.com. I felt like I was in colorful shoe heaven.
The pair that I loved the most and simply had to try on, was the deep red suede wedge boots with a cut-out detail, that not only were very comfortable, they seem perfect for many weather conditions and occasions and are now top of my wish list. I couldn't find them online yet, but I'll keep on checking as they're getting new stock in daily.
With so many different styles to choose from, Nelly have something for everyone. If you like studs and spikes, you're in for a treat. Now you can even design your dream pair and win a shopping spree. It's a win win situation, but hurry as this competition ends in a week.
See all Nelly shoes here.

It's an instagram life #16

Some of the things I've been snapping lately..
Wearing my favourites: pink, gold and animal print, Somerset house looks very different during Jewellery Week and LFW, things on my bedside table consist mostly of jewellery, nail polishes and candles, love a nice decor - candles and flowers is a good option, pink attracts me even in the form of fallen leaves/blossoms on the pavement..

Jewelled Wednesday - H&M

Recently I've found myself buying more jewellery. I'm trying to save up money and not to shop too much and I think little trinkets are guilt free addition to your wardrobe, that have a big impact without breaking the bank. I discovered some amazing pieces at H&M. I bought these on two separate occasions recently, unfortunately none of them are online, but I urge you to hurry into your nearest store and stock up, because the choice is very good and really rather cheap.
The big chandelier earring I'm planning to wear to the wedding and cost only £3.99! The other earrings were £5.99 and necklace £6.99. They are both neon and have already been brightening my mood and outfits during this bleak days, are very Tom Binns inspired from fraction of the price. Girls gotta get some bargains too :)

Alice Palmer AW 12

Last night I had my fingers crossed for Alice Palmer who was nominated for one of Scottish Fashion Awards. Unfortunately she didn't scoop a prize, but in my eyes she's a winner. I love her creations and was excited to have attended her presentation during London Fashion Week. Here's a look at some amazing pieces from the AW 12/13 collection. As great as the photos look, I can tell you than in real life the clothes look even better. Alice hand knits everything and the attention to detail is jaw-dropping.
Shame about the award, but there's always another year. I wish her best of luck in everything and dream of owning one of her pieces.
Have a stylish day.
