Greek designers in London exhibition

Last week (on the last day) I managed to go and see the Greek designers in London exhibition and it was great. We were allowed to take pictures and I took loads to share with you. You can see some more on my tumblr and FB page. The amazing contemporary designers displayed there were Marios Schwab, Mary Katrantzou and Sophia Kokosalaki, you can read about some of the older ones in my Vintage Sunday post.
Have a stylish day.

Greek designers in London

Contemporary Greek designers like Mary Katrantzou, Marios Schwab and Sophia Kokosalaki have been growing in popularity not only in London, where they show their collections, but worldwide. It is therefore no surprise that there's an exhibition celebrating their work, alongside other more established Greek designers.
As I mentioned on Monday, Marios Schwab's exhibition was one of my favourite at London Fashion Week and I am also a big fan of the other two, so I can't wait to visit this free exhibit later this week at the Hellenic Centre. I will try to tweet some pictures and also will write a report after for those who can't attend. Are you going?
Have a stylish day.

My week at Ascot - day 3

Another day behind me. Today was a "Ladies day," which is more aimed at women and it meant there was an extra fashion show. This time it was by a designer Mary Katrantzou, who is known for her digital prints. The girls looked stunning and everything went really well. Every day there is also a short live show for BBC, where they interview one of the designers showing and today was milliner Stephen Jones's turn. I spoke to him very briefly and he seemed very nice.
After we stayed in the sunshine, drinking cocktails and relaxed. It was a perfect way to celebrate our hard work. Everything's been going well so far, so let's hope it's gonna stay this way. Two days to go, with plenty of action. Make sure you read me regularly and you can also follow me on Twitter.
Have a stylish day.
