Place Vendome

When I saw this beautiful lingerie set at Chantelle SS14 press day, it was love at first sight. I have a weakness for beautiful undergarments and this pretty little number is perfect for Miss Pink. The SS collection is full of beautiful colours and styles, but this set has truly won me over. Inspired by the jewellery district Place Vendome in Paris, it is made from luxurious lace and has equisite embroidery. Little black lingerie

So apparently French women are properly clued up when it comes to the art of lingerie and women in UK.. not so much.. I have to say I never really gave much thought about the effect my underwear is giving as long as it was pretty.

But these things matter! I recently attended La lingerie Noire party by Chantelle, where we were shown the different effects different bras make and how it affects what you're wearing (in this case Little black dress). Then I tried on few samples and really saw how important it is to pick the right one (depending whether you're wearing low V-neck, square neck, round neck etc...). From now on I'll think about these things more.

Perfect fit

Couple of months ago I was invited by the lovely people from Chantelle underwear to preview the AW collection, have a fitting and see the different effects the right bra have. This is the second time I have been fitted and both confirmed the same size and same thing. I used to wear a wrong size. It's very important to get fitted regularly as our body changes and also different brands have slightly different sizing.

The AW Chantelle collection is to die for. I wanted everything and realized how many bras we actually need (an excuse to go shopping ;). Balconette, T-shirt, plunge, strapless... the list goes on.

I picked this burguny set and when I received it recently I jumped with joy. It's even prettier than I remember. I love the plain front, meaning you can wear it under most tops, but the lace at the back makes it sexy and not boring. The lace is exquisite. I'm a very happy girl :)

What we wear under out clothes is just as important!
