Well hello there November! I can't believe the British summer time is over and Fall is officially here and it actually now really feels like it too. Although there has been a lot of sunshine (which I'm loving), it's getting colder and foggy. Layers are definitely a must! I wasn't ready to store this Self portrait dress away for next year, so put my Zara jumper underneath (which I own in several colours) and voile - November ready. On another note I am enjoying wearing OTK boots again. I can't get enough. Prepare to see them a lot over the coming months.

And how beautiful is the nature looking with all the changing colours? I am stunned by the extensive colour palette. Definitely will try to spend a lot of time outside in the coming weeks.

There are quite a few things I couldn't imagine my life without. Like coffee first thing in the morning (don't you just love the smell) and then also throughout the day, colour pink (if pink suddenly disappeared from the colour spectrum, life wouldn't be the same..), cosy jumpers in autumn, sunshine, family, friends, laughter, books, fashion magazines, flowers, candles, the list goes on..

I hope the weather is nice where you are, because in London this seems to be one of the mildest and nicest October since I can remember. I am certainly not complaining. I have been enjoying the sunshine and walks through Hyde Park watching the leaves change slowly. And I am not ready for winter coats yet.

I am however ready for the party season. I am a dressy girl and have been slowly filling up my wardrobe with Self portrait dresses. You could say I am slightly obsessed with the brand (you could see a lot of evidence on my Instagram ), so when the occasion arises I'll be reaching for one of those. And although I don't like playing favourites, this one is a strong contender.

Perfect transitional piece and favourite show of the fashion month

I bought this dress in the summer sale on Net-a-porter.com and it was my favourite sale score. It quickly became one of my favourite pieces. I love the fact it's got long sleeves (perfect for British summer), but it's still very breezy and versatile. I will definitely be wearing it also in winter with boots and gilet over it.

The colours and print are just so pretty. Seems to be the signature of Zimmerman, which is quickly becoming my favourite brand. Their SS17 show at NYFW was the highlight of the whole fashion month. I loved every single piece! If money was no object.. Oh well.. Time to start saving now before the collection hits the stores.

Well hello again!

It's been a while since I blogged last but I'm glad to be back. I missed it! Life just seemed to got in a way a bit, but I always knew I wanted to get back to it. For now I'll be blogging every Friday and eventually add more days.  I would love to know what you think!

Autumn stories

 Shopping in Zara wearing new Zara gilet, love navy and pink together, pink details, at a launch party with Rosie Fortescue (from Made in Chelsea), gold everything, bundled up in a Missoni scarf, favourite YSL clutch and new(ish) favourite Loubies , when autumn comes I tend to wear a lot more black (adding a pop of pink with a scarf or other accessories), outfit for a lunch with a friend.

 

Outfit I wore to a friend's baby Christening: from the top, laid out and accessories, burgundy is my must have colour during fall, Halloween ready, minimal make up using Nars Multiple, Sunday dinner at Burger and Lobster with my friends, all black everything (love this top that I had for ages from H&M), coffee with friends.

 

Gotta love a pink lipstick ;), I've been living in jeans on my days off, my nude Loubies were the best buy ever (they literally go with everything), Christmassy nails already (I'll be having a lot of fun with this Deborah Lippmann set), jeans again but much more casual outfit, trip to the Natural History museum, sneak peek of my bedroom, glammed up for a Christening, weekendwear (the pink leather has been on serious repeat).

After quite busy two months (getting used to new job) I should hopefully be back to blogging more regularly. I miss it!
I just had a long weekend catching up with friends and spent Sunday at Natural History museum where we took the pictures. Not only it's the building absolutely beautiful but there is so much to see and explore. If you haven't been, make sure you go (if you can).
London has suddenly gone cold and I opted for layers (good thing if you're tall like me). It was comfy and casual, perfect for stroll in South Kensington later too.
