Flower power

The thing I love the most about this time of year is all the beautiful flowers everywhere. And of course floral prints are everywhere too. Like I said before I'm very picky when it comes to florals, but once in a while I discover an item that fits the bill - case in point this dress. H&M bargain from last year is still high on my list on beautiful sunny days and probably will be for a while.

Chic stripes

 I find stripes very chic and I wear them often. Especially paired with a blazer they give that effortless nonchalant look that all French women seem to have in their DNA. There were times when jeans, flats and blazer could be considered my uniform. Now I try harder and mix it up, though nothing wrong with going back to your comfort zone. Especially since due a little incident, all I can wear are flat shoes now (hopefully not for too long).

Starry shirt

Favourite pair of jeans and a shirt is such a classic combo, it never fails. Whenever you can't decide what to wear, it's always the best solution. Add heels and you're ready to party. This shirt with tiny stars scores extra points, because the print makes it funkier yet it's still business appropriate when needed. I paired it with my favourite flats for a day of errands.

New in: Helmut Lang blazer

 

I am a girl who likes classic timeless pieces that will stand the test of time. Well cut blazer is something every woman should have in her wardrobe. I've been a fan of Helmut Lang for years and always thought their blazers were one of the best. I don't know why it took me so long to get one but I finally did and I couldn't be happier. The fit and fabric are perfect and I know I'll wear it for years to come. Investment piece worth every penny.

Playing favourites

 You know the feeling when you buy something new and you just want to wear it all the time?! It is the case with this shirt. It's exactly what was missing in my wardrobe and I've already worn it many different ways. Soft and muted

As the hot weather continues and tend to reach for softer fabrics and lighter colours. This silky skirt was another H&M buy and I love the fact that it can be dressed up or down. It's kind of nude/golden colour and seem to go with everything. Major wardrobe player :)

Summer florals

 As the shorts weather continues I can show you more of my H&M buys and items I really fell in love with. The shorts are made from super soft chambray and are very comfy and the shirt has a really nice floral print. There's very few floral prints I like, but this just hit the spot immediately. The colour palette and fabric are perfect for summer. The rest of my outfit are my usual favourites that have been on heavy rotation.
