Carlos Miele - AW'10

Absolutely love this collection by Carlos Miele! Full of timeless pieces, very sophisticated and feminine. The brazilian designer knows how to do glamourous without being over the top. Here are my favourite looks.

Keep warm with Marc Jacobs coats

Every winter I face the same problem. I can never find a fab coat that is stylish and practical. I'd rather be cold than looking like I'm wearing a sack, therefore that's what often happens. I AM cold! But things are looking up for next year, thanks to Marc Jacobs. After watching his New York AW'10 show, I feel very positive. He used loads of fur on coats and sweaters and I absolutely love it! These beauties will keep you warm without losing your fashion creds. Exciting!

Love sex money

In the week of New York Fashion week, this may seem like an irrelevant post, but it's about italian label I've recently discovered. I adore italian fashion, I think it's one of the best in the world. I remember the first time I was in Rome and everyone looked so stylish and well groomed I absolutely loved it!
The brand is called Love Sex Money (see even the name is great!) and it's designed by Lorella Signorino, who founded it in 1995. Since then it's been popular not only in Italy but all over the world. Worn by celebrities and participating in events such as Miss Italy, this is a label you definitely want to look out for. Very wearable pieces, powerful yet feminine, great for any wardrobe. I have totally fallen in love with a gold dress from the SS'10 collection. It's on my wish list!
Here you can watch the collection. Enjoy.

Victoria Beckham - a designer to watch?!

I was looking at more New York collections and I've come across this one by Victoria Beckham. I'm still not sure how seriously to take her as a designer, but she's definitelly not dissapointed for autumn winter '10. The collection is feminine, wearable and most of the dresses can take you easily from day to night. She uses clean, simple silhouettes and makes great investment pieces. I believe that a dress from this collection would serve you well for many seasons to come. You'd better watch this woman, because she is proving everyone, that Spice Girls days are well over and fashion star is born.

Alexander Wang - New York fashion week

New York Fashion week is well under way and I will be bringing you collections and looks I love. Alexander Wang has caused quite a stir since he started his own label. Loved by fashionistas and celebrities alike, he created so many must have items, I've lost the count. The AW'10 collection is very sophisticated with a twist. It's for girls who like to break the rules, push the boundaries. There is lot of layering, which is great for the colder months. I especially love his leggings or trousers that are belled at the bottom. I predict copies all over the high street. The draping dress and a clutch are must haves. The man is a true genius and here are my picks.

New York Fashion week

Yesterday was a very sad day for the fashion world, as I reported, but on the good note, it was also a day when New York Fashion week started. I'm gonna show you my favourite looks, but for now I'm bringing you an ad campaign by italian designer Alberta Ferretti, who of course shows in Milan. I think these are interesting photographs and I hope you will like them as much as I do. When the time comes, I will be reporting from Italy as well(through my internet observations.)
Have a stylish day.

Alexander McQueen - in our hearts forever

Unfortunately I am bringing some bad news for all fashion fanatics. Alexander McQueen has committed a suicide, it was confirmed today. What a great, great loss. I absolutely adore his clothes! And mentioned him quite a few times in my blog. The Central Saint Martin's graduate went onto starting his own label, which had many followers. Who could forget is iconic skull scarf and anything with skull really.. But there was more: the clothes, accessories, his vision..
