Transitioning

As it felt quite cold these past few days I've been thinking a lot about Fall and transitioning my wardrobe into the new season. I wore both this skirt and blouse loads during summer and I hope I can find ways how to keep wearing them (the skirt is an all-rounder, with the blouse it's trickier..).

 I started looking at winter coats and boots and although it's quite sad thinking that Summer will soon be over, Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year and I'm excited for the things ahead.

I still hope there will be an Indian Summer, but it's really time to start preparing your wardrobe for Fall.

Minimalist

August weather has gone crazy. Yes there is still a lot of sunshine, but what's up with all the rain? So I am reminiscing to one of the hottest days of the year not so long ago (even though it seems ages at the same time..). I was heading to a pool a kept my look very minimal. Hardly any jewellery, minimal make up and simple outfit. On such hot day hair up is an essential. Let's hope there is still plenty of super hot days to be had.

Changes...

 Last couple of weeks were full of big changes. First I moved into my new flat (and I've been so busy I still haven't finished unpacking all...), then one of my best friends (the one who took pictures for my blog) moved to another country and I had a job interview last Monday and started on Wednesday. I hardly had time to sink it all in.. It's been really full on hence the little blogging break. I'm sad to say for the next few weeks the posts will be a bit irregular until I get into some sort of routine again.

But all is good. Life is finally taking the right direction and I couldn't be happier. After one of the worst years last year, this is shaping up to be one of the best. And I'm already making lots of exciting plans for next year!

Summer stories

Lately I've been so busy what with a full time job, blogging 5 days a week, moving to a new place and much more.. so it's nice to find time to relax and catch up on fashion mags. Spotted these gorgeous pair of Louboutins in Harvey Nichols and they are high on my lust list, gold favourites, sneak peek of my new bedroom (love the mirror which I got for next to nothing and painted gold), pink roses on my new mantel piece, minimal summer look, this Summer I'm loving new coconut frappucino (I've had too many already..), pink makes me happy, buying Diptyque candles for my new place.

 

Pink roses for my new bedroom, can't get enough of gold and dainty rings are my latest obsession, effortless summer look - obsessed with stripes, few favourites, working from bed before my furniture arrived, pool time - can Summer stay forever?!, nautical selfie, obsessed with my Valentino shoes - I need more!, make up bits I've been wearing lately.

Pastel days

 I am not one to wear pastels much. These are pretty much the main(only?) pieces I own. But I'm meant to be getting outside of my comfort zone more so there you go..

July outfits

July was a great month! What with the great weather we've been having here in England, how could you complain?! I've been really enjoying the heat wave and living in shorts and short skirts. I just moved to a new place this week and will spend the weekend DIYing and decorating. Can't wait to share with you some pictures.
In the meantime here's what I wore in July and let's hope for a hot August too.
