Party feet - by Brian Atwood

The fashion world has been full of great news lately, don't you think? With all the exciting collaborations, designer items at high street prices and more and more labels doing diffusion (cheaper, more affordable) lines. Even Victoria Beckham is planning one and I really can't wait to see what she considers more affordable, I don't doubt it's going to look great.
Another one I'm rather pleased about is by certain Mr. Brian Atwood. The great New Yorker has been causing a stir with his fab footwear and his Maniac shoes have become a wardrobe staple. For those who cant afford a pair of manic BAs here's some good news. Brian just released a line called B Brian Atwood and you guessed it, its cheaper! Music for my ears! Here's a preview of few styles priced from £190-640, but there's more. I love!
And guess what. The ad campaign is as hot as the shoes. You can see few images of it on my FB fan page. Now which one to go for..
Have a stylish day.

London - the fashion capital

London is a great place to be right now. I mean I've always loved it for its fashion, architecture, cultural scene etc. but at the moment it's having its peak and I'm extremely excited to be living here.
And the world has noticed the vibe and cool status of London. It's just been named THE fashion capital of the world (no surprise there) and it just keeps on getting better. Just in the last few days there have been exciting announcements of international designer opening their stand alone stores. With the likes of Kate Spade jumping on the bang wagon, you couldn't find a better shopping destination. Adding to this, and the ones I'm most excited about, are the queen of Parisian cool Isabel Marant, New York hip label Helmut Lang and funkiest undies label around Victoria's Secret. Add to this places like Selfridges and Harvey Nichols and you really are spoilt for choice when it comes to retail therapy. So credit cards at the ready and see you around.
Have a stylish day.

Czech Marie Claire editorial

I promised to bring you more Czech editorials and here's one I absolutely adore. Featured in Czech Marie Claire, we have Karolina Mrozkova in Valentino looking absolutely stunning. The black and white photography just adds to the glamour of the clothes and the location tops it all off. I think they did really well with this shoot. I only wish there was more of the close up pictures. What do you think?
Have a stylish day.

Jewelled Wednesday - Renaissance life

The time of year has come again, when I'm preparing for London Fashion Week. Planning my outfits and buying new clothes is my favorite pass time but there's also show ticket request to be sent and planning my diary and so on. Very exciting. Just as I was going through all the leaflets and press material from February's LFW, I've come across a business card of jewelry line, that really caught my eye. How could I forget posting about it! I requested a look book straight away and here I am introducing you to Renaissance Life.
Lovely Linnea Gotstav, the woman behind Renaissance Life, has been very helpful and sent me all the important info very fast. The Swedish brand has been launched in September 2009 and has gone from strength to strength. Now available in 13 countries including England, Sweden, Norway, France, Hong Kong and more.

Each piece is named after a year and has a story to tell. I love the romantic feel to it and I think it will look great with any outfit. Boho or rock chick these jewels will give nice finishing touch. You can tell the pieces were made with love and will bring the wearer joy and smile on their face. The contrast of soft and edgy shows well in the look book. Check out also the images I snapped myself.
I can't wait to see their new collection and buy a few pieces as well.
Have a stylish day.

Vintage Sunday

I love Vintage Sundays as I love going through old magazines and fashion books, getting inspired by the glamour of past years. There's two reasons why I've picked today's photo - Versace advert from 1988 (not really vintage but in today's world of fast fashion it doesn't really matter). First reason is the fact it features stunning Czech model Paulina Porizkova and I want to bring more editorials from czech magazines or editorials featuring Czech models and second reason simply because it's pink. You may have guessed that one.. But I can't help it, that colour just always draws my attention. And the picture is very playful and brings a smile in my face. What do you think?

Party feet - by Alexander McQueen

The summer hasn't even properly started yet, but it's already mid August and it's time to start thinking about your autumn/winter wardrobe. The fashion month is just round the corner and all the highly anticipated Septmber issues have been released giving you a good guide in what to buy. For me the top of my list are the fluoro beauties by Alexander McQueen. I'm known as Miss Pink and my day wouldn't feel right if I didn't wear anything pink. Be it my YSL jewellery, or selection of handbags, pink plays important part in my wardrobe. These booties are a great way to give a new lease of life to any old LBD and inject a colour to any outfit. I simply must have them! Available now at net-a-porter.com.
What's on top of your list? Let me know.
Have a stylish day.

Kristen Stewart for W magazine

I have to admit I was never a big fan of Kristen Stewart. Don't get me wrong, she's a pretty girl, but she never smiled and simply just didn't impress me in any way. That is until Edward Enninful took over W magazine and decided to put Kristen on his first (September!) cover. I was mesmerized straight away! And then I saw the rest of the editorial, shot by Mert and Marcus and loved it all. I wasn't a regular reader of W mag either, but definitely want to get my hands on this copy and might reconsider. Well done to the whole team behind the shoot and congrats Edward on your first, very successful issue. I predict more gems to come.
What do you think of these photos? And which is your fave? I can't decide between the cover and the third image. Let me know.
Have a stylish day.
