There have been so many great shows at NYFW so far I really can't mention them all. But one that definitelly has to be talked about is by Michael Kors. As un unbelievable as it may sound, Michael celebrated 30 years in the industry. Not that I remember the beginnings, but he just keeps on getting better and better. The show was a bit of a retrospective of his best designs, with contemporary feel. It's full of timeless pieces, luxurious fabrics and interesting detailing. I'm especially loving all the fur. Fabulous! There were 63 looks! Including womens and menswear. I'm bringing you just few pictures because I found it so hard to pick. Make sure you check out the whole collection and start writing your wish list now.

Stylish homes - by DvF
Even though I'm not big on prints, I love Diane von Furstenberg (the queen of prints). What better time to show her collection of homeware than during New York Fashion Week, where she again showed a beautiful collection. Last year she designed a series of rooms for Claridges Hotel in London, so it made sense she'd eventually come with a home accessories line as well. And they are rather fab. The collection includes bedlinen, table-wear, crockery, cutlery and so on. Most pieces are in her signature prints, they will brighten up your home and make it more stylish. Available exlusively at Bloomingdale's in New York plus their website and DvF.com. It's all very colourful and I love it. What do you think?

jewelled Wednesday
Can you believe it's Wednesday again? Time flies by and it's the time again for Jewelled Wednesday. One of my favourite regular features as jewellery is such an easy way to update your wardrobe.
But today's post is a bit different. Normally I only show you one piece of jewellery or one designer, but today I'm bringing you few pages of editorial of UK Harper's Bazaar March issue dedicated to jewellery. It shows sometimes more is more. I love it. It caught my attention straight away. Styled by Carmen Borgonovo and photographed by Matthew Shave, I find it very inspiring. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Victoria Beckham at NYFW
As you probably know, the New York Fashion Week is in the full swing and with it started a whole fashion month with London Fashion Week kicking off this Friday (can't wait to attend and report!) and Milan and Paris after. It's all very exciting for different reasons. There are always particual collection we can't wait to see and for me one of them this season was by Victoria Beckham. After few successful seasons already under her belt I'm still not sure what to make about this whole thing her turning designer. But I have to say, this is my favourite collection of hers so far. Some of the previous ones were very dressy and although it still consists mainly of dresses and skirts, it's full of really cool and wearable pieces for every day. Love the simplicity of it all, but with interesting details like belt or irregular shape or draping. Easy chic! The colour palette satisfies various tastes as well, with red, yellow and khaki green amongst it. Victoria said she designed the collection before she found out she was pregnant and now can't wait to wear it. I'm not surprised. I'd love to wear it too.
Well done VB, you are definitely a designer to watch.

Handbag obsession
We all love handbags. We need handbags! To carry all the important stuff like lipstick and all :) I was just looking at net-a-porter.com (as you do) all in the name of research.. And of course I found a great selection of handbags. All very desirable and colourful. Perfect for the hottest SS trend. My favourite is the pink Lanvin one (obviously), but red Chloe has very timeless shape and turquoise Burberry seems different and original. Want them all!

Jewelled Wednesday - by Lucy Hutchings
This talented young woman originally comes from Suffolk, which rural area inspires her jewellery. She got a first class honours degree at University of Brigton in wood, metal, ceramics and plastics. She got her experience working for Erickson Beamon and eventually started her own label sold at Young British Designers. Lucy's bold pieces have been featured in Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. I love how she's pushing boundaries, trying to create something different. If you want a statement piece Hutchings is the woman to go to. Shop more great collections at youngbritishdesigners.com or click here for Lucy's collection.

Lightening up
I hope the weather is great wherever you are, because here in London is simply gorgeous. Blue sky with not a single cloud in sight! It makes me crave spring and summer even more, start shedding layers of clothing and swap heavy boots for sandals and pretty shoes. I love wedges because the have high heel but are very comfy. Here's my top three pick from net-a-porter.com. They have a great selection, but I chose these because:
The Valentino ones are so pretty and feminine with the little flower and tie fastening around your ankles.
The red Miu Miu I love for the colour. Perfect way to inject some into your wardrobe. Just add denim cut-offs and a simple tee with some gold accessories and you're ready for summer.
The beige Gucci pair is a must have for every wardrobe. Nude shoes go with anything and they elongate legs plus with the heel you'll look like a glamazon. Result!
Have a stylish day.
